i like the the format

Any format which has multiple decks capable of winning is terrible: more decks means unpredictability, highly teched Main-Decks and almost impossible Side-Decking, all of which increase the factor of luck. With increased luck comes decreased skill, which is why really good players dislike these formats and scrubs prosper.

Tier 0 formats (that is, formats with one or two dominant decks), like TeleDAD format or Dark Armed Return format, have none of these problems and are thus much better.

Jamie basically summarised exactly why people are whining. It's a luck sack format. Whoever goes first and has the better opening hand will always win. It's like a 95% chance.

Formats with 1-2 good Decks are better because side-Decking becomes a matter of including cards to stop them and them only as the other Decks in the format are just fun Decks that pose no serious threat.

However, in a format like this, where Tier 1 - Tier 2 is about 20 Decks, there's just far too many options to side deck thus making the game a little unbearable unless your super lucky. Which alas, not all of us are.

Hopefully, Konami realises they're idiocy and bans and limits certain key cards in Decks to either a) slow the meta down or
b) eliminate some of the worse decks and make it a 3-4 Deck format.

Yeah, but at least they're consistent with what wins and what doesn't.

At the moment, random Decks are topping everywhere cause you can't side against 20+ Decks with only 15 cards.

Sams will lose so much and might be a lot less sacky. i predict Gateway= Banned United=2 Shien=1 or 2
plants= Lybrarian = Banned Csorc= 2 Lonefire=1

Gadget Exceeds may get a hit aswell (each gadget=2) (ultimate offering=1)

Samurai doesn't need any sort of hit from the banlist. It depends on the dice roll and is easy to side. There isn't even a way to search for gateway

the reason i feel sams should get it is purely side decking. I feel when u have 2 side deck a card from stoping them from overwelming u rather than shutting them down with regular side cards i fell it needs to get hit. The deck still has an amazing draw engine. There also fairly consistant. there bad nads are still playale hands with there big wall mosters. in chaos plants if u open 3 avarice and 2 random traps u scoop. in sams if u open a kaigeki a magatama and 2 sword technique and draw into united u can stall with a 2k wall until u can go off.

This is just my opinion. i fell the deck is just a tad over powered.

the problem with samurai is that you need to have Shi En out and like 4 back row except the deck doesn't really have too much space after the monsters, search cards, power up cards.... yes the deck is ridiculous when it goes off but when they don't they are in real danger of the game turning really quickly.... The real problem is that even though you run low monster counts if you draw too many monsters together you are screwed because the majority of your deck then becomes useless....

If your problem with it is siding against it then you might as well ban stuff for all otter top tier decks. The cards you side against them is also used against at least another deck type. Their draw power depends on being able to summon and can be busted by a simple mst or dust. As an old Samurai player, I really don't need how it needs any sort of hit from the ban list.

Also, who runs three pots in a chaos plant deck? You're asking for bad hands throwing in a third pot without the support and balance to back it up, and it aren't in chaos plant.

They should ban all Decks in the format. This is a rubbish format.

If anything, ill give you my insight to what i believe should happen come september.

oppression need to be at 2 so blackwing can be tier 1 again
