also i may note, that saying "no otk" is pretty stupid.... OTK does not realy pose a threat, OTK can be flawed VERY easy, and to say no OTK pretty much gets rid of chaos decks because alot of chaos decks are made to otk, its just how they work

what they SHOULD have done is said "no temple of kings, no makyura" i know its banning cards in a "no ban" format but it would pretty much get rid of the problem.

infact, they should just do that always....

its so kids don't get upset when they lose in a turn....

it's basically pacing yourself....

therefore, Makyura and such are still fair game, but should be utilised in a way
that isn't an FTK.

btw, having been to their sneak peek on sunday.. they mentioned this and said that OTKs are fine, just no FTKs

I asked Mikal about it (Michael who works at the shop)
because allowing OTK's poses a flaw.

I could say, draw my Deck, set exchange and end.

then during your Draw Phase, activate Exchange of the Spirit.

it's techincally like an FTK, but an OTK.

same sort of thing applies to Last Turn... which can only be activate during your Opp's turn anyways...

the only reason i will b pushing for no OTK is because if you do get it on the first turn or in your opponents turn they will consider it to b an FTK and will complain but i will give more detail when the rules are confirmed

still be better if it was advanced...

Michael, why don't we clarify the rule by wording it: "Only battle-based decks will be allowed." This eliminates the problem of being able to set up an FTK on the first turn, and then simply waiting until your opponent starts their turn to win.
