When I activate CED's effect to pay 1000k does it destroy itself aswell?

If it does destroy it self then I already know tht but I had a duel with my friend and he said CED stays alive.

I had to read the effect like 2 times and he said Jamie would've misplayed with CED or something and raymond thought tht it stays on the field aswell but nooo they had to be like jamie knows all his rulings so they had to listen to him [no offense jamie]

jamies knowledgebase on rulings is extremely high, he would not have said any of that, he knows the ruling on chaos emperor dragon very well.

it sounds like you and your friends are all making excuses for getting a ruling wrong.
